The case studies below describe how organisations, just like yours, are using TechnologyOne's Enterprise Content Management solution:
City of Playford
The City of Playford is named after one of South Australia’s most influential leaders, Sir Thomas Playford, and is one of South Australia‘s fastest growing council areas. Playford is home to some of Australia’s most innovative projects, including the Playford North Urban Regeneration Program and Waterproofing Playford. With more than 70,000 residents, Playford is a manufacturing and horticultural industry leader, with the Virginia horticultural industry responsible for some of the best products available from a field, glasshouse, or vine.
"It is important to me, and that for the organisation, that we engage with a provider that will work with us. With TechnologyOne, we know that what we say is taken on board," said Chris Horsell, Team Manager Information Services.

City of Canada Bay
The City of Canada Bay Council in New South Wales was formed through an amalgamation of the former Concord and Drummoyne Councils. It is located in the inner west of Sydney, just six kilometres from the Sydney CBD. The Council serves a population of 80,000 people living in more than 25,000 rateable properties.
“TechnologyOne ECM is a logical evolution of the features we already use and has introduced a number of new features – notably for the Web – that make it possible for us to develop a more accessible and expansive information management platform for the Council. The power of Webforms combined with automated workflows and, in the near future, integration with our other core systems, gives us a robust framework for improving customer service, staff training and knowledge sharing that benefits Council staff and customers in equal measure,” said General Manager, Gary Sawyer.

North Shore City Council
North Shore City Council (New Zealand) was established in 1989 through an amalgamation of a number of small local authorities. The Council serves a population of approximately 215,000 people who live in New Zealand’s fourth largest city. North Shore City Council employs around 800 staff, located at its two main offices in Takapuna and at the various libraries, leisure centres and cemeteries throughout the region.
“The open architecture of TechnologyOne's Enterprise Content Management solution has made the mail outsourcing project a reality. It has given us flexibility in the way we can integrate our information management processes with other core systems in our organisation and with systems from third party providers,” said Jeff Shaw, Information Systems Manager.

Southern Rural Water
Southern Rural Water is responsible for rural water supply across the entire southern part of Victoria, from the Great Divide to the coast. Its customers are principally the farmers, graziers and growers of southern Victoria, but the company also supplies water in bulk to non-metropolitan urban water authorities and to Latrobe Valley electricity generators. Southern Rural Water manages the state’s largest groundwater operation and its second largest non-metropolitan headworks business.
“Field workers with dial-up connections to head office could use the browser interface for quick and simple access to the TechnologyOne ECM repository. At the same time office workers had access to TechnologyOne ECM from the desktop, so we didn’t have to compromise on giving our staff access to the system based on their location. A major upgrade of our network before the end of the year will give greater capability for access wherever our staff are located,” said Vere Gray, Executive Assistant/Authority Secretary.

Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority
Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority (SHFA) is responsible for managing, restoring, servicing and promoting Sydney’s most historically and culturally significant waterfront locations including two major precincts: The Rocks and Darling Harbour. As one of Sydney’s largest landholders, the Authority runs events, community and education programs, manages properties, carries out capital works and undertakes major projects throughout its jurisdiction.
“People always had the responsibility for managing corporate records and making sure they were captured right, but until we bought TechnologyOne ECM we had no way of knowing whether they were doing it or not, and how efficiently they were doing it,” said Virginia Orr, Corporate Governance Manager.
