The Salvation Army Australia Eastern Territory
The Salvation Army Australia Eastern Territory operation is faced with the same challenge facing most charities – how to drive the charity dollar further by reducing costs, improving the efficiency of its business processes, and managing and centralising information as its revenues and staff numbers grow. The Salvation Army was seeking to improve business processes including the management of sales, finance, supply chain, asset and property management – not only to overcome fragmentation of information but also to speed up the flow of information.
“With these two new solutions from TechnologyOne our aim is to further centralise information – which is currently somewhat fragmented – and link information coming in via either Works & Assets or Property & Rating back to our Financials solution,” said Systems Accountant Robert Brooks.

Far North District Council
Far North District Council (FNDC) covers a wide area, stretching from halfway between Whangarei and the Bay of Islands to the very top of New Zealand. While its subtropical climate is very popular with holidaymakers, its rugged terrain and geographical isolation make it one of the more sparsely populated district council territories in New Zealand.
“The advice I would give to other councils is to think outside the box. This is not just about numbers, but business processes and a much broader tool. TechnologyOne is not just an accounting package with reports, but a really powerful business management tool that is easy to use,” said General Manager Finance and Business, Ian Sivyer.

FKP Property Group
With more than 30 years experience in the Australian property industry, FKP is one of Australia’s leading diversified property and investment groups.
“Throughout the tender process we visited a number of reference sites to view the technology in action and to gather feedback from current users of the system. This gave us an opportunity to assess the technology and we were confident that TechnologyOne could execute this significant project and deliver real benefits to the company, within the challenging timeframe we required,” said Group Finance Manager Paul Innes.
